Dealing with emotional states through acting skills
Severina Špakovska, Lithuania
For several years now, Severina has been delving into Mikhail Chekhov’s acting technique, which is met not only in all fields of art, but also in psychotherapy. Researchers provide a variety of practical assistance on what can affect emotional states, how to change them, how to create thematic spaces and states where a particular life cycle would spread in the most effective colors. Let’s take a brief look at some of the absurd seriousness of everyday life and immerse yourself in lighter and more playful imaginative worlds that can integrate in both home and professional environments.
If sometimes you don’t know how to leave work outside of the comfort of your home, or how to change your emotional state before an important meeting, or maybe you are just interested in acting, or simply embodying different aspirations or just want to have fun – this workshop for you.
FRACTAL MOVEMENT WORKSHOP
Šarūnas Kirdeikis, Lithuania
Achieving the exalted state of consciousness with the help of movement is a task that has aroused humanity’s curiosity since ancient times. Whether it’s a folk dance by the fire, a shamanic ritual of drumming, or an electronic music festival, sound vibrations, percussion beats, and constant rhythmic movement can take you to a higher state. With the help of dance, it is not difficult to experience euphoria, to create a favorable space for the perception of oneself and the World mentally, or simply to lift the mood for oneself and those around oneself. One of the techniques for achieving an elevated state of consciousness is the search for a continuous, constantly moving movement. As if the edge of the fractal, at each point starting a new curve, the motion can also be infinite. Born from the former and giving impetus to the next, it is consciously and later reflexively led and woven into the scriptures, eventually embedding in a mathematical structure that has no end and stops only when the music is silent.
