Step away from the noise and enter the forest differently.
At Yaga Gathering, Liudas Basiulis (www.forte.lt) invites participants into a guided 1,5 hours long forest bathing experience inspired by shinrin-yoku, contemporary nature therapy, and the intelligence of living ecosystems.
This is not a hike, workshop, or performance.
It is a slow sensory journey into the forest – hrough silence, presence, breath, texture, sound, and connection.
During the session, participants are invited to explore the forest not as a background, but as a living network. Particular attention is given to the idea of mycelium – the underground fungal web that connects trees and plants into complex systems of exchange, communication, and mutual support. The mycelial network becomes both a biological reality and a metaphor for human connection, community, and interdependence.
The practice includes:
* slow guided walking,
* sensory awareness invitations,
* moments of silence,
* individual and shared reflection,
Liudas combines evidence-based nature therapy approaches with grounded presence and deep respect for the Lithuanian forest landscape. His sessions are influenced by international forest bathing methodology, local traditions of relating to nature, and recent research on the effects of forests on the nervous system, attention, and wellbeing.
