Mycelium Lab is a physical research platform and a temporary space created specifically for Yaga 2026. Equipped with instruments, samples, and installations, the lab will host presentations and workshops led by artists, designers, engineers, and researchers, sharing their insights into the fascinating world of mushrooms and molds.
The project is curated by Vytautas Buinevičius, an architect, urbanist, and visual artist working at the intersection of spatial practice, urban systems, and contemporary sculpture. His work explores the emotional qualities of everyday environments and the invisible structures that shape the way we live, move, and perceive the world.
