This performance explores themes of human relationships and love. The piece reflects on what lies beneath tenderness and gentleness in love, and on how the need for connection and intimacy manifests itself through innate animality, distance, and hidden experiences.
—-Eyes are lustful. Bloated eyelashes flutter quietly. The body’s soupy, cosy foam. Tear it apart, knead it with a dried umbilical cord. A fallen belly kisses. Slap with the tongue, bite, argue, strip naked. It will tear, strike, or shatter. The giggling maniac will choke. Feed her with a sweaty palate. Tickle her groin, lie beside her armpit. All the vomit from the heart. Slugs from the heart. While making love, she will hide, then she will stink. Rut, bark dully, decay.—-
The performance contains nudity.
Performance time: Thursday, July 16, 20:40–21:00.
