Miss Plastica

Povilas Bastys (Miss Plastica) is a multidisciplinary performance artist working across contemporary dance, ritual, and transformative performance. Trained in classical ballet in Lithuania and educated at the Danish National School of Performing Arts, his practice bridges physical precision with radical embodiment. Through his alter ego Miss Plastica, he explores identity as a fluid, sculptural process, merging movement, costume, and ritual aesthetics. His work investigates transgenerational memory and inherited emotion, approaching the body as an archive of lived and ancestral experience. Bastys creates immersive performances that seek catharsis through repetition, transformation, and shared vulnerability.
