Povilas Bastys, a multidisciplinary artist with a foundation in contemporary dance, engages in the exploration of movement through the lens of transformation, adopting the moniker Miss Plastica for transformative performances. With classical ballet training from the M. K. Čiurlionis National Art School in Lithuania and a bachelor’s degree in contemporary dance from The Danish National School of Performing Arts in Denmark, Bastys has contributed to several contemporary dance projects.
Currently, Bastys organizes cabaret events in Lithuania, creating a platform for alternative performances. Beyond dance, Bastys integrates makeup, costume, and set design into highly personalized performances, showcasing a broadened artistic scope that includes various elements of visual and performing arts.
