Egzotikka is the project of Lithuanian artist Osvaldas Bertašius. Recently returned from London, he creates music at the intersection of minimal wave, post-punk, cold wave, and lo-fi EBM. His work explores themes of memory, detachment, and distorted intimacy through the use of analogue equipment, dusty drum machines, tape hiss, and his own vocals.
Beyond his solo work, Egzotikka is an avid vinyl collector and DJ, performing exclusively on vinyl. He also curates the META MOTO record label and radio show, and has released music on labels including Detriti Records and Raw Culture. Alongside his solo projects, he frequently collaborates with other artists, most recently with Shaknis.
