Kavatūta invites you into the fragrant, grounding world of coffee alchemy — where nothing is wasted, and everything can be transformed. Every day, countless cups of coffee are brewed and their grounds forgotten. Here, we give them a second life. Blending minimalism, ecology, and art, we shape coffee into tactile, earthy amulets that carry both intention and beauty.
In this workshop, you’ll create your own coffee-ceramic talisman infused with Baltic symbols — the ancient encoded language of our ancestors. These signs speak of nature, harmony, cycles, and connection; they hold the quiet wisdom of forests, fields, and the living world. Working with them invites you to slow down, reconnect, and remember where we come from.
Expect a gentle, sensory experience: the warmth of the material in your hands, the grounding scent of roasted earth, the soft massage of shaping and smoothing. It’s a meditative flow, a little ritual of care, and a chance to meet your inner creator.
The session is guided by Gabija Medeinė, founder of the ecological design studio Kavatūta — an artist, maker, and keeper of coffee’s hidden magic.
