Art Therapy Workshop: Talismans of Consciousness

Nick is a visual artist and creative facilitator with over 12 years of experience in the arts. In recent years, his work has shifted toward exploring the emotional and symbolic side of creativity — where image becomes reflection, and artistic expression becomes a way to connect with the inner world. His workshop, Talismans of Consciousness, offers a space for self-reflection through intuitive painting. Participants are invited to paint two sides of a symbolic wooden object — one guided by intuition, the other shaped by intention. What begins as spontaneous color and form often takes on deeper personal meaning. The process helps participants slow down, notice what’s present, and express themselves in a quiet, symbolic way. By the end of the session, they leave with a unique object — and often, a clearer sense of where they are and what they wish to carry with them.
