Better known by his artistic alias Pidžin, Pijus Čeikauskas is a multidisciplinary Lithuanian creator whose practice spans animation, graphic design, street art and installation. A graduate of the Vilnius Academy of Arts (BA in Animation and Photography; MA in Graphics), Pijus earned the Sidabrinė Gervė award in 2022 for his short animated film Mora Mora.
As curator of Klaipėda’s Artojas Street Art Park, he champions an ever-evolving urban art scene, transforming public spaces into open-air galleries. Pijus’s work is instantly recognisable for its playful sarcasm and irony, rendered in rough, energetic strokes, vivid colour palettes and a distinct cartoon-inspired aesthetic. His alter ego, “Pidžin,” embodies a rogue city bird, leaving bold, unexpected traces throughout the streets to engage audiences outside traditional gallery walls.
At Yaga 2025, Pijus will reconceive everyday objects as immersive installations—most notably a one-of-a-kind casino machine piece—seamlessly blending urban art sensibilities with functional design to create rich, thematic experiences on site.
