Incense was burned on Deities altars already 5000 years ago. In ancient times it was believed, that with the smoke of the incense, the prayers travel straight to the Gods. Incense is used for a variety of purposes, including the ceremonies of religion, to overcome bad smells, repel insects, spirituality, aromatherapy, meditation and for simple pleasure. The incense are made from different compositions of herbs, resins and essential oils. Each composition is unique, and can awoke feelings of: relaxation, stimulation of nerve system, sexual arousment and even help to cure some breathing disease.
The participants will:
• be introduced to the history of incense burning;
• get to know a variety of incense and its ingredients;
• make 3-5 cone shape incense sticks;
• participate in ancient ritual made with incense sticks;
