This is no ordinary fire. We will kindle it as a living being, invoking Gabija, the revered Goddess of Fire from the ancient Baltic tradition. In the old ways, Gabija is not just flame and warmth – she is the guardian of the hearth, the protector of home and kin, and the sacred thread that weaves the physical and spiritual worlds together.
It will be lit with purpose, tended with love, and kept with devotion. May it serve as a beacon, a gathering point, a bridge – connecting earth and sky, people and nature, past and present.
Come as you are. Bring your voice, your stillness, your prayers. Let us meet in the circle and welcome the fire as a symbol of a living goddess among us.
