Matteo Vegetti is a Forest Bathing guide and an environmental hiking guide. He is based in Spain, but also works in Italy. He is the co-organizer and artistic director of Cansiglio InVita, a nature connection festival in Italy, in collaboration with the University of Padua. He is the founder and president of Società Selvatica, a non-profit association offering nature connection activities. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a Master’s degree in emotional accompaniment (equivalent to psychotherapy for non-psychologists). He is also trained in Family Constellations, and has been practising Cos-Art, Yiya Diaz’s method of body awareness, for several years. Through decades of research and experience at the intersection of mind, body, spirit, art and nature, he has found in nature connection a particularly effective and inspiring way to promote planetary health.
CREATIVE MOVEMENT IN NATURE (duration: 2h)
Open to people with any degree of experience, from professional dancers to total newbies, this workshop is designed to learn how to get out of your mind to inhabit every inch of your body, then explore movement in space as a way to merge with the natural environment, until we are no longer sure where our bodies end and the forest begins. Who knows, perhaps we might even make some magic together.
