Tibetan monks create mandalas from colored sand grains. The process can take up to several months. Once the mandala is completed, the monks destroy it. The goal is to overcome the sense of attachment to certain situations and events in your life. During the workshop, we will reach deep within ourselves, choose the colors and create our own mandalas using colored sand. We will not destroy our mandalas; instead, we will bring them back home to remind us about the joy of creating them.
